  • 1.  HCL - Outsourced IT-infrastructure management

    Dear Apptians,

I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who has HCL as an infrastructure vendor.

The reason for asking is that we're trying to increase the quality of the data used in our configuration using the detailed

invoice-specifications provided by this vendor. In its current form however, it is anything but usable.

I'd like to know if you've gone through this process and ended up with a useful format, and what it looks like.

    Cheers,

    Niklas

    Hi Niklas

HCL is one of our vendors. We are a huge organisation and are taking baby steps to improve.

In our organization it is Purchase Orders which is the key to influence the invoices.

We have implemented some functionality to increase the flexibility mapping the cost towards applications if needed.  otherwise it is WBS' that are mapped towards towers.

If you think it is worth it... send me an email/call me.

@Niklas Degerman just came across this question from awhile back. Curious if/what you ended up implementing here?

I've had several of my past and current customers utilize the invoice from HCL as a way to allocate their HCL vendor costs to their respective Towers. This exercise can be very easy or complicated depending on what direction you go.
