HI,

I have a Power8 E870 with two FSPs redundant installed. Whenever I boot the machine, it starts from FSP 2 and later when I try to convert it to FSP 1, it doesn't work. But I can ping both of them. I can ping both the FSPs and the IP of both. But when I try to convert it through HMC not switching in HMC i saw only FSP1 IP not viisble FSP 2 IP and but there is no error, i follow the IBM Docs but its not works.

But if I try to do this from ACM, I can see the primary one there, but the secondary IP is not showing in the IP of HMC either. So please tell me something. I am very stuck. There is some trick. There is no fault in both. Both are pinged separately. If I remove one, the other one come FSP1 Primary one. So please, someone help me as soon as possible.

my recommendation to plan to go with Power11 whish is reased recently .
