  • 1.  Has anyone know how to connect to azure synapse analytics correctly?

    hello guys.

    i have a problem to get schema information from azure synapse analytics as data source on data module in 11.1.3
    I'm sure set a azure synapse analytics as data source, but when i try to get schema information from azure, getting error

    unable to query result from azure, 

    so i tried to change modeling tool to framework manager.
    but i gotten same result before

    i thought, it couldn't get column information from azure schema information

    so i want to hear how to set azure synapse analytics as data source and your experience

    Did you get the azure synapse analytics working as a data source?

    If you did, could you share what you had to do?  We are currently on R6 and we are testing R7 FP 2.

    hi. guys

    yes. i did, synapse analysis working well as data source.

    when i got a problem first time, i guessed database account was Insufficient privileges 
    so i asked DBA to get full privilege to database account for getting schema information
    then i got database schema successfully

    i use mssql jdbc driver and setting on datasource by jdbc(not set native) with sqlserver
