I am in the process of creating documentation that will be used for package handover to the production team and will also be used for migratimng the packages from UAT to live. Has anybody created such documentation and if so could the give me some ideas as to what I should Include

How extensive the documentation required would depend on the nature of your client’s business. Obviously, among the “standard” docs include functional specifications doc, operation guide, & migration guide. If this is a pilot package handover, installation guide would be a norm. Organisations that places great emphasis on security will normally ask for security doc as well. I believe the GEAR templates would provide some ideas as to what are normally needed. What are suitable and what are not in your case would ultimately be decided by you (in consultation with your clients, of course).
