As far as most apps are concerned, HACMP is irrelevant as long as it's configured correctly, and you use the dns name which resolves to the service address. Some apps use machine id's or cpu id's which can get problematic, but most pure IP based apps which rely on dns names and ip addresses should be ok.

So, what's the IP config of your HACMP cluster, hostnames, service IP addresses, service IP labels, etc.

And which of those do you configure WAS with, etc.
