What you provided is the correct default password for an on-premise VM appliance. Unfortunately if you lose your accessmgr password you need to open an IBM support case and they will assist you to regain access. They'll ask you for the passkey which you can obtain from cli command: support show passkey accessmgr.

Is this a cloud or on-premise vm appliance?
You cannot assign the accessmgr role to the admin account and you cannot grant accessmgr role and admin role to the same user.

At Guardium version 12.1, I cannot log into the GUI using the accessmgr account with the default password guardium (the accessmgr account is not locked). May I ask if the default password for the accessmgr account is different in version 12.1? Alternatively, can I assign the accessmgr role to the admin account to configure users and LDAP instead?
