  • 1.  Guardium RESTAPI automation without human intervention

    Hi,

    I am looking for possible options to automate some of the tasks using Guardium restapi command without human intervention.
    I dont want to hardcode the GUI password in the script to generate the token and run guardium restapi commands.
    Any possible options I can use to safeguard/ecrypt the password and use in automation.

    Hi Rohit,

    You can connect your Guardium server User management to supported LDAP e.g. Active directory and may rotate the passwords as well as encrypt them via AD probably.

    But I need to use the user account in restapi call, how I will achieve encryption when using curl restapi call?

    You may enable TLS using cli in Guardium.
    encryption is for data at rest only.
