  • 1.  Guardium aggregator and collectors monitoring

    Hello all,

    I wonder if someone of you has already configure guardium with a monitoring tool like Nagios or centreon the idea is to monitor if collectors and aggreagator are alive if the services are up without opning the Guardium GUI.

    Hi Samir, 
    Guardium has an in-built SNMP agent with read-only community string "guardiumsnmp". 
    Please check the documentation

    It should be possible to build an alert based on the "open monitored session count" or "last construct timestamp" counters to confirm that the Guardium collector is working properly

     I tested the commands in the link you  shared with me and it's works 

    [root@xxxxxxxxxx ~]# snmpget -v 2c -c guardiumsnmp xxxxxxxxx UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskAvail.1
    UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskAvail.1 = INTEGER: 16353064
    [root@xxxxxxxxxx ~]# snmpget -v 2c -c guardiumsnmp xxxxxxxxx UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskUsed.1
    UCD-SNMP-MIB::dskUsed.1 = INTEGER: 7991740
