    Posted 01/23/08 04:47 PM

Has anyone worked with extracing documents from emails? I need to get a document of a Lotus notes email database and then process it through my wm Service. Has anyone did something like this?

    Thanks.

not totally sure about lotus notes, but i think they should support either POP3 or IMAP.
you can just create new email port and read email from the mail server. Shouldn’t matter which type of mail server is.

Open web admin, go to: Security > Ports
Add Port, select “webMethods/Email”, on next page you will see the options.

you can create service to process the mail, read the Admin/Dev guide, it’s straightforward.
