What does giving and receiving points mean? How does it work?

Hi, go to your profile and you will see number of point. You get point by completing community tasks or simply by being active in the community.  

Hi @Camille Faith Crisostomo, in addition to what @Michal Kicman said above, be sure to check out the How Do I Increase My Community Participation Level? page.  This outlines different ways you can earn points in addition to our Community Participation Quests.  There used to be a feature that allowed you to gift points to other users but in an effort to get all individuals familiar with our resources on Community to earn points, which is required to earn your RTBMA, that feature is now gone.
