Make sure your database is up and you are able to connect and also check the JDBC pools on IS. If the problem still exists contact SAG support. It might be some internal error.

The issue has been resolved. A event was configured in Optimize to monitor a Scheduler on the Integration Server.

The scheduler on the IS was deleted, but the event on Optimize was still running, hence the error.

Resolution:
Deleted the event on Optimize and the issue was resolved
