    Recently gettext (0.19.8.1-4) is made to link with libiconv rpm provided library (/opt/freeware/lib/libiconv.a) rather than AIX base provided library (/usr/lib/libiconv.a).

    This exposed packages whose libpath is not properly set. Some of the affected packages are coreutils,diffutils,findutils,texinfo,info, bzip2, zip, sed, tar, gnupg .,etc

    Some of these packages are already fixed and published in AIX Toolbox. Other packages are being worked on. 

    In the meanwhile , we have published gettext-0.19.8.1-5 where we have changed the way how gettext library links with /opt/freeware/lib/libiconv.a

    Once users install this gettext, the above mentioned libpath issue will not be seen.
