    Hi, I need help in applying validation to fields,

    I am trying to validate a Customer ID field in Datacap 9.1.9.

    Requirement:
    - Max length: 8 digits
    - Only numeric values allowed

    What I did:
    - Used TextLength rule
    - Added validation in ruleset

    Issue:
    - It still accepts more than 8 characters
    - Alphabets are also accepted

    can you please help me with this.

    add FormatString with regex ^\d{1,8}$ and setting StopOnFail=True , that alone will close both issues
