Is it possible to remote debug an IBM Open xlC 17 program from Windows with gdb (an IDE)?

Where can I get/find the gdbserver for remote debugging?

I've installed gdb vom aixtoolbox but there is no gdbserver included. Is it possible to include the gdbserver in gdb package or as a standalone package?

I've tried to compile gdbserver but no luck so far.

It seems gdbserver is not supported on AIX. But why? gdb is running.

Hi,

As of now, we do not have support for gdbserver on AIX. So gdbserver binary will not get built in AIX. 

It requires AIX architecture code to be written in gdbserver code and then testing to do the same.
