  • 1.  gdb security vulnerability fix

    gdb-17.2-1.aix7.1.ppc.rpm is now available in AIX Toolbox.

    This version of gdb has fixes for the following security vulnerabilities.

    CVE-2025-1176
    CVE-2025-1178


    You can use DNF to update to this version of package from the AIX Toolbox repository.

    , thanks for sharing the update. I'll review the GDB version update and apply the recommended package update from the AIX Toolbox repository to address the listed security vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-1176 and CVE-2025-1178).
