    I second that.

EGL Rui and web services run most of our business.

    Look @Achmed

I'm messing with RBD-EGL for two years, we're getting IBM support, no problem.

It is a powerful tool when looking for links between platforms.

I participated in Vagen, Cobol, DB2 migration projects running on OS-390 bound for EGL Java running on AIX Power740. In this project we migrate to TUI applications. This project was a success. With considerable IT cost reductions

I'm in another project, now in the AIX Power740 environment, with EGL - RUI, and also using webservices, XML .. In this project, what I'm finding interesting is such an abstraction of EGL in conversing / inheriting native java resources.

    Be successful in your business.

I received a short time ago from Jeff Douglas:

    Hello friends and associates.

I wanted to let you know that IBM has recently partnered with HCL for the development of Rational Business Developer, where HCL will pick up the development and continue to work with IBM in a shared approach.
    http://www.hcl.com/

HCL has successfully partnered with several other products in the past and this is good news for RBD as this arrangement has now increased the desire and opportunity for RBD to be improved while continued to be supported. Here is a link to the announcement:
    https://www.ibm.com/blogs/cloud-computing/2016/09/partnership-growth-innovation/

I have accepted this opportunity at HCL to continue to work on Rational Business Developer and I will formally become an employee of HCL instead of IBM. What this means, is that effective Aug 1st, I will still be part of a growing team that will be eager to improve and support RBD while continuing to provide excellent service for all of our customers. This does mean however, that I will be reachable under a different email ID. My new email ID is jeffdoug@us.ibm.com which will transition to an HCL ID in a few months.

I'm looking forward to continue improving and supporting RBD.
