Functor Models
Functor models are the next logical step mathematically. A Functor Model reduces to a Function Model when the source category has fixed objects and only identity (or trivial) morphisms, so that all structural transformation collapses to point-wise evaluation.
The key idea here is that Function Models remain valid and sufficient in many cases, but Functor Models become necessary when correctness depends on transformations, versioning, or replacement itself. In other words, when the pipeline matters as much as the function, reasoning at the functor level avoids ad-hoc guarantees.
