    We are still using version 6.5 and I am using the FTP component to send and retrieve data from clients. The problem I have is there is no command to close the FTP connection after the transaction is done. It causes the client side timed out after whatever the limit they set. And when I do the send or retrieve next time, I got a timed out error.

    So, HOW DO I CLOSE THE FTP CONNECTION WITH DATASTAGE TX 6.5 AFTER I FINISHED MY TRANSMISSION???

    What platform are you using and are you using the Event Server? If yes, set IdleFTP to 20 in the mercator.ini file.
