I tried to remove ora10g-1 and create a new on, but I was not able to delete the ora10g-1 in the DS4700, it said that a process was still access the flashcopy...
I found that the logredo still accessing the loglv01 even the varyoffvg ora10gvg executed last time, the dev/loglv01 is created from the ora10gvg:

root 630796 1 0 May 10 - 0:00 /sbin/helpers/jfs2/logredo /dev/loglv01

lslv -l loglv01
loglv01:N/A

Because it sounds like you still have loglv01 existing on hdisk2. you said the varyoffvg worked? You can't remove the LV if there is still a process tied to it. You should have gotten told by OS that the LV was busy.
Or maybe I am misunderstanding the question. Can you rephrase your question to be more specific on what you're trying to accomplish?
