I have requirement to add filters on right side of dashboard instead of adding them on top All Tab and This Tab section. I want to add dropdown prompt and explore other prompt types that can be used on Cognos Dashboard.
1. Adding dashboard filters on right hand side.
Option 1: Customize dashboard to hide entire filter section This Tab and All Tab and then add all filters to right side of dashboard.
Option 2: Customize dashboard to move entire filter section This Tab and All Tab to right side of dashboard.
2. Moving filters on actual dashboard instead of adding them on All Tab and This Tab section, using these filters should not just select data rather filter the data in visualizations. I have noticed that if filter data is available on visualization then it just highlights filtered data instead of filtering.
3. Filter types by default are coming as list box prompts or checkbox prompt, can we include all other filter types like dropdown, checkbox, radio or slider etc.,
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
