I have a normal table in a report to which I have added a Total Column (data tab>Sum>Show Total Column).  Is there a way to filter the rows based on values in the Total Column?  For example, I only want to see rows where the total is between 4-6.  Since it's not a column in the data source, I can't drag it to filters.

Any ideas?

Since the Total column isn't in the actual data table from which the report is generated, then I don't believe it's possible to include it in the filters area of the report editor. You can still filter on values in that column, but it will need to be done manually when you view the report. Using your example, in report view mode, try putting >=4&&<=6 in the filter bar above the Total column. I believe this will filter the table on only rows where the Total value is 4, 5, or 6.

I think @Jonathan Cutting's approach will work - just remember to save the report with the filter specified in the auto search filter.

Another approach is to have a new column that has the formula for the sum and hide it. This will be available for sorting and filtering.

That really pointed me in the right direction. It wasn't the solution for me, but that was good knowledge that helped tremendously!
