  • 1.  Filename of backup

    Posted Thu April 03, 2003 02:49 PM

    Hello!

In documentation I have read that the format filename of backup is:

    kkkeeeeetttttttttttt.xxx

    where:
    1) tttttttttttt is a time stamp string (12 digits)
    2) xxx is 1BO

I just need to know what it means the following letters:
    1) kkk
    2) eeeee

    In advance, thanks a lot!

    best regards,
    Dariusz Baumann

    kkk

is the server key (unique identifier of the database).
    find it in HKLM/SOFTWARE/Software AG/Tamino/Servers//ID

    eeeee

is the ‘extent number’ of the backup. i.e. if a backup fills up the first location, it creates a second extent in the next location specified.
