The file icons associated with different SPSS files are not displayed when I save SPSS files into document. The logo linked to each file (i.e. spv. or sav.) does not appear. Does anyone have a solution?

It would be useful to know the operating system and version of IBM SPSS Statistics you are referring to here.

Also, it would be good to know what assumptions we can make trying to help you. For instance, do you have IBM SPSS Statistics installed? If you are simply moving files from a network resource onto your hard drive without the product installed, then of course the SPSS Statistics icons will not be associated with these files.

Please offer a more detailed description and replication scenario, so that others here can be helpful to you.

This issue is associated with SPSS Verison 27.0.0. IBM statitistics is installed on my hard drive having updated from version 24 to version 27.

If you already have a license for Statistics 27.0, then I strongly urge an update to 27.0.1.0. This is a minor release and can be installed over the top of or instead of IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0.0.0.

Since you are already having evidence of a corrupot install, I suggest you uninstall the existing product and reinstall with the Statistics 27.0.1.0 media.
