  • 1.  Federation and AAC module import required after upgrade?

    Hi,

    We are planning to upgrade from ISAM 9.0.7.2 to ISVA 10.0.3. These are virtual appliances, total 8 in the cluster.

    For the appliances that have Federation and AAC modules installed, do we need to re-add these modules after the upgrade or these will automatically get updated with the base appliance package file?

    Deep,

     

    The appliance firmware always embeds the AAC and Federation 'modules'.  In order to be able to use these modules however they need to be activated with an activation code.  When you perform an upgrade from an older firmware version the activation codes are preserved.

    Deep, please make sure you use 10.0.3.1 as opposed to 10.0.3.0.

    Oh no..just saw this reply after literally performed the upgrade to 10.0.3.0 this morning. Does this version have any issues I should be aware of?
