I am using IBM AIX Server Type9111-520, eSeries, running IBM AIX Version 5.3
I want to know what are the different FC-HBA that IBM AIX Supports. I spent 2 days on net searching for the correct doc, but not much luck. From my local system i have extaracted a few facts about HBA installed. like,

    PLATFORM SPECIFIC

    Name: fibre-channel
    Model: LP10000
    Node: fibre-channel@1
    Device Type: fcp
    Physical Location: U787A.001.DPM27VD-P1-C1-T1

    firmware version : Device Specific.(Z9)........TS1.90A4

    Part Number.................80P4543
    EC Level....................A
    Serial Number...............1X54501848
    Manufacturer................001X
    Feature Code/Marketing ID...280B
Etc. But i am curious about how i can know what all HBA AIX supports, how to upgrade the firmware version etc. When i connect this Host to SAN Fabric having Brocade switch, Name Server entries does not list HBA type, which is Symbolic Node Name for the HBA. Any document regarding this will be very helpful to me. This is first time i am using a AIX host. Also this is my first post in the forum. I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Niranjan

As per the link below from IBM
    http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=111&context=SWG10&context=HW200&q1=Fiber+Channel+Adapter+AIX&uid=isg3T1000674&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

Feature Code is determined from the part no listed in "lscfg -vl fcs0" command output. So from my mcahine, i found my part no was 80P4543 and corresponding Feature Code which support this part no is 5716. (Just browse the link provided in the above mentioned link). In the page no #39 of the Red book, this feature code does not even appear. I am a bit confused... why the doc does not match in both the places. My intention is to know all Fiber Channel adapters that IBM servers supports. Or does the IBM HBAs are named by its Feature Codes ?? Anyway thanks much for your help.
