  • 1.  Extracting metadata and content from CMOD using java apis

    Posted 07/28/21 11:46 AM
We are using two content management products CMOD 9.5 and FileNet P8 5.5. We are in process of moving CMOD content to FileNet P8.
We have created java utility to extract metadata and content from CMOD and separate utility to upload the same into FileNet P8.

Everything is working as expected but one thing where we have big challenge.
It seems CMOD server is having limit to extract only 1000 content using one search query form any CMOD folder.
We are trying to locate the settings where this limit is being configured, but we could not locate it.
Is there a configuration file where these limits are set and after changing this will ensure to extract 100000 to 1000000 content from single CMOD folder?

    Hello Rajesh,

Please refer to Redbook section: Maximum Hits - for more information, including how to set 'No Limit' for document hit list entries that are returned by a folder query.
