  • 1.  Exporting to MPLUS

    Hello-

    I am trying to export SPSS data into MPLUS as a .dat (tab delimited) file without variables attached to the set. When I go to saveas or export as "tab delimited" this screen pops up:


    As seen, SPSS is not allowing me to manipulate the file type and preventing the exclusion of variable names. MPLUS does not like variable names. From what I understand this step is done when saving the SPSS file. This is creating errors in MPLUS. 

    Can anyone please help with this matter? 

    I am trying to run a multilevel mediating path analysis in MPLUS. 

    If more information is needed please let me know.
