    We are using DataStage TX 7.5 with Event Server, and we need SQL Server database access using OLE-DB with a Windows Network account. I can run a map and successfully get data with the mdq and udl files, but the maps run using the Event Server fail.

    So, do I setr the user that the Event Server Service runs under in Windows using the Windows Services admin tool or some other method?? How do I know what user the command server/event server are running under?

    To change the user the event server is running under,
    right click on the event server service in the services window
    Select properties
    Select the logon tab
    select This Account and enter the user details.
