Letting the event server run without manual restart cause the event server to restart itself (sometimes). As this cause some issues/problems, e.g., two event server running, event server failed to start (last event server log shows port in used), etc., we can't rely on this auto restart.

So far the longest time the event server can last without manual restart was 2 days (during weekends) and we almost Restart the event server everyday on weekdays (for almost two years now). Support provided us some updated files but seems does'nt solve the issue: We do still encounter this problem. Anyone encounters the same issue? Any solutions?
Please advice.

We use 7.5 and we had an issue with memory. It turns out there is a memory leak. Once the patches were applied we were fine - there are actually 2 memory related patches. I don't know if the patches are only for 7.5, but I would check with customer care and get them.
