    Hi All,

We have a situation where external systems have exposed their services as Java web services. webMethods portal would be calling those services. Now we have 2 choices :

    1. Portal would call ESB service, which would in turn calls external Java web service
    2. Portal would calls directly the external Java web service which would be registered in centrasite.

I feel second option would be more useful, but wanted to have second view as ESB should act has the service asset provider…

    Regards,
    Sumit

I also feel your 2nd option would be viable where you will set policies/permissions to access that external ws thru centrasite GE.
