I am getting this error while restarting IS. After restart some times adapter services are getting hanged. Gettign this error -

[ART.0114.1007E] Adapter Runtime: Error Logged. See Erro
r log for details. Error: [ART.114.13] Adapter Runtime: Error occured while Adap
ter Runtime was loading adapter type “JDBCAdapter”.
[ART.114.9] Adapter Runtime: Error(s) while registering adapter type JDBCAdapter

Pls let me know if you any solution.

I am also facing the same error with the Adapters.
Can any 1 let us know if they came across such problem and had a solution.

check if the system you are connecting is running and reachable.
You can do simple telnet test from your WM box.

If there are connection(s) that are failed to initialize properly, this error might happen. Check for all your existing connections and remove conn’s that has problems in getting enabled. Restart IS and check again

Thanks for the reply.

While looking into the logs we had found out that the error occured after all the adapter connections were started successfully.

So there doesnt seems to be any problem with the connection initialization.
Any ideas what possibly can be done to avoid this please?

Can you provide more details on the error?
you may want to check the Error log, in addition to the server log enties.

The error doesn’t have any meaningful message.
If there is nothing else in the error log, you may want to open a ticket with SAG.

As you rightly suggested i found few entries in our error logs after the restart which suggested that few connections were not able to initialize properly and threw error as given below:

[ART.118.5021] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to process connection properties. Internal error.

Any suggestions on the above error.

Same issue here. The problem was/is with with 7.1.2 Fix 43 and 8.2.2 Fix 5 (potentially other versions as well) - since applying those fixes or newer all Adapter Runtime connections store the password in the passman store, and the password handle - in the connection node.

Have you installed any Fixes lately? Or migrated from lower version? What is your IS version and fix level?
