    Hi adminuppla,

The UNC "" is not it. I have tried it and the same error message appears.

    Thanks for the advice though.

    Hi Gabriel,

    First congratulations.

I have tried following the link that you have posted. In one of the steps it suggests to send the certificate to CA, what does this mean?

    Many thanks,
    Bish

    Hi bishal,

It mean that if you want a "well recognized" certificate you need to send to a Certificate Authority (Verisign, RSA, Equifax,...) your certificate request and they sign it (you pay for it).

If the WebServer is for intranet you don't need a "well recognized" certificate, you can confgure self-signed certificate. You can create it from IKEYMAN.  Select Personal Certificates instead of Personal certificates request and click "Create self-signed certificate", then the steps are the same.

Tell us if you need more support.

Thanks Gabriel for the suggestion. I think I somehow managed to get the https working.

The blog you have suggested was a great help to me.

To test if I am using SSL does the IBM http server address have HTTPS in from instead of HTTP because I did not use to get anything on HTTPS before.

    Thanks for you guidance.
