  • 1.  error while installing package

    hi,

    this error comes up with different packages..this time tmux. this behaviour drives our orchestration tool crazy.

    rpm_share: 0645-007 ATTENTION: update_inst_root() returned an unexpected result.
       error: Error installing package 'tmux'

    but tmux is installed...

    root@kug01132: /var/cfengine/outputs # dnf install tmux
    Last metadata expiration check: 3:41:11 ago on Wed Aug  6 04:28:18 CEST 2025.
    Package tmux-3.3a-1.ppc is already installed.
    Dependencies resolved.
    Nothing to do.
    Complete!

    whats the problem here?

    this article is about another error message, so  its of no help...

    meanwhile i tried to upgrade dnf itself...error once again...seems it comes up with EVERY package...

    package is upgraded anyway...but the error pops up in our monitoring...anyoing

    so how to get this fixed?
