Dear Sir/Madam,

Some of my colleague's are experiencing some problems when they want to save a data file as an xlsx file. As soon as they try and do that you will receive the following error: Unrecoverable application error in the statistics processor. This happens when using SPSS 22. Colleague's that have SPSS 23 and higher don't experience this error.

Have you seen this before and are you able to help me?

I am also facing this issue but I don't understand whats the problem with that. I am also waiting for support help. But still I am facing. If you find any guide or solution please share here. Thanks

Hello, no we have not seen this before and it would need more information. I suggest you install the last fixpack that was available for this older SPSS release 22.

You can find it on https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/

The last FixPack was Fixpack 2 for release 22. For example if you have installed on a Windows 64 bit machine you would need 22.0-IM-S22STATC-WIN64-FP002

FYI: SPSS 22 is no longer supported, also release 23 is not supported anymore. The current SPSS Statistics release is version 27.
