  • 1.  Error when running PROCESS Macro on SPSS 31

    Hello,

My model consists of one continuous independent variable (IV), three continuous mediators (M) and a continuous dependent variable (DV). I am using Process model 4.
IV and M are correlated and M and DV are correlated.
When running the Hayes Process macro in IBM SPSS 31, the following error is presented,

*********************** ANALYSIS NOTES AND ERRORS ************************

There is no reference value of x.

I was running the exact same analysis one day before and everything was going well.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Myriam

    Hi @Myriam Roy

As you can see the Hayes Process macro provides its own error messages.  If this was working for you just yesterday, I would ask what has changed in the way you are setting up the analysis?  Waht has changed in the data?

As the error message is coming directly from the third party Hayes macro, rather than SPSS Statistics, I advise consulting the author: https://processmacro.org/index.html
