  • 1.  Error trying to use webMethods Integration SaaS APIs in new IWHI release

    Posted 17 hours ago

    Hello all

Has anyone tried using the wM integration (SaaS) APIs to export or import projects on the new IWHI (gen2) ?

I am following this documentation to export a project: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/wisolution/wm-integration/11.2.2?topic=apis-exporting-projects

I set Auth to Basic Authentication, and provide my IBM ID credentials since that is what is associated with my tenant. I do not provide anything for the Body.
However, I get a 401 error saying "MSCP Bearer Token is invalid". Here's a screen shot from Postman:

I do have the Admin role on the wM Integration tenant prod808535.

The documentation says I can use Basic Auth. I assume this is my IBM ID associated with my environment prod808535.

The error says an invalid MSCP Bearer token is invalid. How do we get this token?

@John Carter have you tried this?

    Any info is appreciated.

    Hi @Wayne Leishman,

In case of MCSP basic Auth will not work. You need to get the bearer token and it needs to be passed as header (X-INSTANCE-API-KEY).

To generate the bearer token you should naviagte to the acces management and then under the subscription tab  select the instance and then generate  the API KEY.

    Sharing the screenshot for same.

Refer the below article for same to generate the token
