I have an authorised license code through my University for SPSS version 24 and 25 on my mac version Mojave 10.14.6. I downloaded SPSS 25 first and the license code did not work, so I tried version 24 which also did not work - both come up with the following error:

"There appears to be a license for IBM SPSS Statistics, but it is invalid. Most common causes: System Date/Time changed on machine, or the license persistence files have become corrupted. Check your System Date, and then contact Technical Support. Specific symptom number: 12"

I looked for resolutions online and tried to change my 10 lock code to a 4, this didn't work. I deleted the LSERVRC file as suggested on another ticket. Still no luck.

Ended up buying the base SPSS stats and it doesn't have the linear mixed-effects model that I require for this Masters so I thought I'd just ask how to fix this particular problem with the University version.
