I have uninstalled the design studio and tried to run the program..It was running. But when i try to run in a new system where wtx haven't installed for the first time, it was showing the error as:

$MERC_HOME_DIR is not defind. Native library  

Can any one help me out?

Hi,

Please try to set the variable $MERC_HOME_DIR=<path to your wtx install>  In your system environment variable . and run testing again

Reboot might be necessary after setting the variable

You should not need Design studio or integration server to run your API if you have the WebSphere Transformation Extender for Application Programming installed
