while running the Tamino 4.4 installation the following error is generated

Error Number: 0X80040705
Description: :

This comes up while installing the System Management Hub and then the set up exits with another message:

1628: Failed to complete installation

Any inputs as to what needs to be done to fix the will be highly appreciated.

If you do a search on the forum you’ll find that others have had this before you
(looks like TAB characters in the path to host/services dir)

Well, I did search and tried that option before posting on the forum. The option mentioned there does not work. Going by the date of the Thread - seems like the solution is relevant to the earlier version of Tamino maybe 4.2.x.

Any other ideas please.

Hi Rahul,
Did a bit of googling on 0x80040705, and it looks as if it’s an ungraceful handling of a stringerror comming from Installshield.
Many of the hits talk about paths longer than 300 chars.
Could that be the case in you env. ?

If not I think you should make a support request.

I removed file \drivers\etc\services and i also have a problem 0x80040705:( What else can you suggest?
