Hi,

I had installed and worked with File adapter a 4 months back. But now i was trying to rework on the same. When i attempt to start the process it gives the following error. Could anyone please let me know.

Task: Set up message catalog:
Could not set up message catalog for DLLs “D:\webMethods5\lib\Adapter40.dll” and “D:\webMethods5\lib\cadk40.dll”:
RegSetValue: (5) Access is denied.

Hi Anand,

When you create an adapter process it writes to the registry on the local machine. This error is telling you that you do not have accss to write to the registry. I think if you were logged on as administrator or had local administrator priveledges on the machine that this would work for you.
