  • 1.  Error happend when Oracle JDBC Connection was enabled.

    Hi,

    When I clicked ‘enabled’, The following error happend.

    in the serverlog

    2004-11-02 16:24:45 KST [ART.0114.1007E] Adapter Runtime: Error Logged. See Error log for details. Error: [ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class “oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource”.
    IO ^l^x^h^l^y^x ^l^c^a^m^y^i: Got minus one from a read call
    2004-11-02 16:24:45 KST [ART.0114.1007E] Adapter Runtime: Error Logged. See Error log for details. Error: [ART.118.5042] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to enable connection resource Test.adapters:JDBC_SAP_TEST.
    [ART.118.5036] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to configure connection manager.
    [ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class “oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource”.

    2004-11-02 16:24:45 KST [ISS.0095.0003C] AuditLogManager Runtime Exception: java.sql.SQLException:[wm-cjdbc33-0009][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column

    EAI Server : HP-UX 11i, IS 6.1
    Oracle : 8.0.4

    when I tried to connect other oracles, all were ok.
    when I tried to connect the above db with the IS at my machine(Win XP), it was ok.

    It was SOLVED.
    Oracle Setting problem.

    Hi all,

    you should consider a DB-Upgrade to Oracle 8i 8.1.7 at minimum, as this will ease the connection configuration a lot.

    As far as I know Oracle Versions before 8i are no longer supported by Oracle.

    Which Driver-Version are you using?
