Dear friends,

I am using entireX with Oracle packages. Everytime I recompile a package (after modification) and launch my application the entireX server crashes. I suspect there is a problem related the way entirX maintains connections to a back-end oracle database.

Can you please share your experience?

Especially it is unclear which component of EntireX you are using.

Dear Rolf,

Here is what I use: EntireX Broker 5.3.1, Oracle 8.x on NT. I use two layers of PL/SQL packages(pilot and library). The problem arises when I launch the application after recompiling any of the packages in both layers.

However, I’m still not sure what EntireX Server component your are using.
Are you using the EntireX RPC Server for C or something else ?
