Entirex 6.2.1 Control Center problem

    Hi,
    We use entirex 6.2.1 version.
    We are upgrading from OS/390 2.10 to Z/OS 1.4.
    We start ETBSEC and ETBBROKER on Z/OS system.
    Although we can start online and batch RPC servers, when we try to connect to broker via control center (version 6.2.1.), we get below messages in ETBSEC logs.

    10:42:39 SEFM040 * INTERFACE INSTALLED FOR S/390 NATURAL
    10:42:39 SEFM042 * INTERFACE INSTALLED FOR ENTIREX BROKER
    10:42:39 SEFM008 * EntireX Security (V6.1) STARTED
    FAIL 09:42:39 04600000 RQ 13 : SPGBUT : (80) : CLIP 146.8.3.209
    FAIL 09:46:41 04600000 RQ 13 : SPGBUT : (80) : CLIP 146.8.3.209
    FAIL 09:55:46 04600000 RQ 13 : SPGBUT : (80) : CLIP 146.8.3.209

    146.8.3.209 IP address is defined in RACF and SPGBUT user has control authority for this IP address.

    Is Entirex Broker 6.2.1 supported in Z/OS 1.4? or any patch required forZ/OS 1.4

    Well, EntireX 6.2.1 on OS/390 or z/OS is out of support since 1 year …

    And as far as I remember it was never released for z/OS 1.4. You need to upgrade to 7.1 or 7.2. Be aware that 7.1 is going out of support on November 30, 2005.
