    Hi All,

given an environment in which ELB is enabled, what will happen to the existing session and to the new sessions if the central manager goes offline?

    No CM failover.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

    Stefano

If no CM, then the S-TAPs won't move around or ELB feature won't work.

    Hello Sachin4,

    thanks.

So if a new session is established, the collector will be choosen randomly?

I mean: managed units groups associated to stap groups is no longer available, so where it will be logged it is unpredictable, correct?

Most likely the S-TAP is going to point to the collector mentioned in the sqlguard_ip parameter value of the stap configuration (guard_tap.ini). Unfortunately, I never tested this scenario myself.
