Hello Everyone,
I was trying to install Broker4.0 on a new machine. And during the installation I got the following error message

"broker_create.exe produced the following output: unable to open connection to host localhost. Error java.net.SocketException: connect (code=10061) was reported by socket call.

I ignored this message and completed the installation. I could start “awbrokermon.exe” but “awbroker.exe” remain stays ‘starting’.

Please advice.

I am having the same problem. I am using IS 6.01 and at the broker installtion time, it says that port 6849 is used by some other process and can’t create broker on this port. I used some other port, but after starting IS, I can’t see any awbrokermon process running.

If any of you have any ideas, please share them.
