Good morning. I have a case that has been open for 21 days with no sign of a solution so I thought maybe I would try here.
Enrollment: QR code - linked to google workplace account.
Security Policy: KIOSK mode but nothing really restricted on an app by app level, just not allowed to close out of kiosk mode.
No recent changes made by me to the setup
I have about 25 Galaxy Tab 7Lite, that have been enrolled in MaaS360 for a year+ working just fine. A device was not able to open email attachments, even when exited from Kiosk mode (usually there is a prompt that you have to answer 1 time - annoying).
Typically when something minor like this happens, I factory re-set the device and re-enroll, set everything up, verify opening attachments work, then move on. This time, the enrollment would appear to move through however the screen on the device would stop on "Checking device's compatibility for Android Enterprise".
Initially (with support) we went through my config (which was fine) did more factory re-sets, tried other devices (same models) and same results. One tech told me the issue was my devices were not Android Enterprise devices.
So I purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 (which is on the enterprise list) and lo and behold......same issue.
On the MaaS360 portal it labels the enrollment as complete, on the device it hangs at the message above, and goes no further. Additionally the portal never gets updated model and sn info from the devices either.
Not sure where to go and I don't think another session with level 1 support is going to help at this point. I need to get this working I have new employees that have to get set up.
