Hello,
I’m trying to install the free trial version of webMethods tools but as soon as I run the installer I am being asked for the “Empower” user name and password. I believe Empower service is for regular customers of Software AG. Can someone please tell, where am I going wrong.

Hi,
there are two parts for installation, the installer itself and an image file containing the sources to be installed.
You need to select “Install from Image” instead of “Install from Empower”.

in my case, I´m installing on a ubuntu server, so I can´t choose any option when I´m executing the .jar on the console.

Finally, my solution is: install a GUI in the Ubuntu Server (Lubuntu https://linuxconfig.org/install-gui-on-ubuntu-server-18-04-bionic-beaver), and throught that GUI, follow the installation as this video shows: SAG Webmethod Training Tutorial 11 : Install trail version of Webmethod (Linux) - YouTube
