I've been trying to find information on the EJBTimer database. In each of our environments the database is gradually creeping up in size, and I want to understand what processes should be in place to cleanup or trim the database.

There's not a lot of documentation out there,  but I've found a technote to suggest that if the database becomes corrupt it is possible to remove entries, but there's no more detail.

Can anyone ellaborate on whether there are any housekeeping tasks that can be performed on the database under /AppServer/profiles//databases/EJBTimers//EJBTimerDB. Is this an administrators task, or is the increasing size a sign that the applications are not clearing up after themselves.

    Many Thanks
