EDIINT AS2 implementation questions - Certificate management

  • 1.  EDIINT AS2 implementation questions - Certificate management

    Posted Thu September 15, 2011 05:15 PM

    Hi,

we are planning to integrate with Sterling commerce VAN via AS2.
This would be our first AS2 implementation. we have a ssl certificate for our IS.

For the AS2 documents, we intend to sign and encrypt.

The question which I have is, can we use the same certificate (i.e the one which we have for our IS) also for AS2 signing and encryption OR
Do I have to use separate certificates for both.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Santosh

Yes use the same cert installed on your IS/TN (your enterprise profle) and give your CA to TP for AS2 security.
