I have an ancient version of Edge components on a Windows server.  Not currently supported.

I'd like to spin up a new instance of Edge.

1 - How can I tell what I am entitled to?  Most of the generic suggestions to go to ESS or Passport Advantage doesn't really list Edge Components.  I do have a case open on the old version so that gives me some hope that I'm entitled.

2 - Where can I download Edge Components?  And how do I best search for it there?  So, let's say I want to run it on Linux on x86.  Replying "go to passport advantage" without saying "search for ####-xxx" or something like that could be improved.

    Thank you

Are you entitled?  It depends on the contract, so no one here can state that you are or are not entitled.  Edge Components are several different applications, so it depends on what and how they will be used.  Since you did not list your version, I have no idea which part number to send.  For tWAS ND v905 the part number for the entire package is CJ8UKML, with Proxy being CC3NWML and Load Balancer being CC3NVML.

That really helps.  It's Load Balancer.  I believe Proxy has reached EOS.

As I understand it, the only product that directly includes Edge is WAS ND and WAS for z/OS. Some higher level websphere bundles (cp4apps, hybrid edition, etc) get it transitively by including ratio for ND. There are probably all but no other ways to get access to it.

If your ibmid is really associated with an account that has access to ND, I think there are mechanisms inside of passport advantage to open a ticket.

Sometimes one company has multiple accounts and the user is associated with the one that doesn't have ND or didn't renew it. Other times digital contracts don't flow through the various systems to entitled downloads properly.

I emailed the passport advantage people.  They were very diligent and found it under a particular site id underneath IBM Verify.  I'm downloading that.

What I've downloaded is:  IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment for IBM Security Verify Governance Lifecycle Multiplatform Multilingual eAssembly (CJ8NCML)

And it seems to be part of that.
